Addendum: auction data — carsexport.us
1. Purpose and precedence
This addendum applies to the information and calculations on carsexport.us and supplements the terms for business customers and consumers. In case of conflict the addendum prevails.
2. Where the information comes from
Information about vehicles, lots, photos, bids, prices and history comes from third parties, including US car auctions (e.g. Copart and IAAI), data services, public registers and shipping companies. We are not affiliated with the auction houses, and their names and trademarks belong to them. Photos belong to the sources and are shown as they are.
3. The information is provided as is
The information is shown as we received it and may be incomplete, outdated, delayed or wrong. Photos do not necessarily show all damage. Mileage, damage description, ownership and title status and flags in vehicle reports (e.g. possible odometer rollback or changed title status) are indications based on the available data, not guarantees or a condition report. Lots may be withdrawn, and prices and bids may change at any time. We do not guarantee that the information is correct, complete or fit for a particular purpose.
4. Calculations
Calculations of e.g. shipping, customs, VAT, taxes and total price are indicative estimates based on the information and rates we have. They are not an offer or a binding price. The actual amounts are set by authorities, shipping companies and other suppliers, and you should check them with them.
5. No advice and no trading
Unless otherwise agreed in writing for a specific service, we do not sell, bid on, broker, ship or clear vehicles through customs, and nothing on carsexport.us is an offer to do so or advice about a purchase. Buying at an auction is done on the auction house's terms and at your own risk. Inspect the vehicle and seek professional advice before you bid.
6. Liability
Towards business customers we are not liable for losses resulting from decisions made on the basis of information or calculations on carsexport.us, unless the loss is caused by intent or gross negligence. Towards consumers the liability rules in the terms for consumers and mandatory law apply.
7. Use of the data
The information may be used for your own purposes. Systematic copying, automated extraction or republication of data or photos from carsexport.us is not permitted beyond what our API terms allow. If a photo shows personal data, e.g. an identifiable person, you can ask us to blur or remove it at info@lynbro.dk.
